DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: WPP's Roberto Quarta Buys Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Tuesday.----------PR and advertising company WPP said that Roberto Quarta, executive chairman and acting as chief executive, bought 10,000 American depositary shares shares on Monday.Quarta bought shares at USD85.81 per share, worth USD85,8087 in total. His total holding after the transaction amounts to 87,500 shares.In April, Quarta replaced Martin Sorrel as temporary chief executive of WPP. Sorrel stepped down after an investigation into "an allegation of misconduct".WPP shares closed at 1,268p, up 1.6%.----------P2P Global Investments said that Michael Cassidy, non-executive director, bought shares in the company for a total of GBP47,000 on Monday. Cassidy bought 6,000 shares priced at 795 pence per share. His total holdings in the company following the transaction were not disclosed. P2P shares closed at 794p, down 0.5%.----------Ruffer Investment said Non-Executive Director David Staples bought 20,000 shares at 229.48 pence per share, spending a total of GBP45,896. His total holding in the company following the transaction was not disclosed. Ruffer shares ended at 229.20p, up by 0.3%.----------River and Mercantile Chief Financial Officer Kevin Hayes bought 32,110 shares in two separate transactions. Hayes bought 8,000 shares at a price of 310 pence per share last Friday and 24,110 shares at 309 pence per share on Monday spending a total of GBP99,299.90. Following these transactions Hayes owns 284,975 shares which represents 0.34% of the total shareholdings in the company. River and Mercantile Group shares closed up 2.6% at 314p.----------Electrical company Luceco's Chief Financial Officer Matt Webb bought 65,894 shares worth around GBP49,750 in total. Webb acquired each share at a price of 75.50 pence. His total holding following the purchase was not disclosed. Luceco shares closed at 76.00p, up 5%.----------Odyssean Investment Trust said that three non-executive directors bought 630,000 shares in total on Thursday last week. Jane Tufnell bought 500,000 shares at GBP1.00 per share. Arabella Cecil bought 100,000 shares and Richard King acquired 30,000 shares at the same price. The total final holdings of the three directors following the transaction were not disclosed. Odyssean shares closed at 101.50p. ----------Royal Bank of Scotland Group said that Mike Rogers, a non-executive director, bought 20,000 shares on Monday. Rogers spent GBP53,900 on shares at a price of GBP2.695 each. RBS did not disclose Rogers's total holding of shares following the purchase. RBS shares closed down marginally at 269.80p.----------Pittards said that Chairman Stephen Yapp bought shares worth GBP20,000 in the leather and luxury goods producer. Yapp bought 23,800 shares at a price of 83.75 pence per share, reaching a total holding of 84,111 shares. Pittards shares closed up 4.5% at 86.70p.----------Support services firm Interserve said Chief Executive Officer Debbie White and Chief Financial Officer Mark Whiteling bought shares worth a combined GBP87,813 in two transactions on Monday. White - CEO since September - acquired 56,364 shares at 105.8972 pence each, worth GBP59,688. Shares in Interserve closed 3.8% lower at 90.20p on Tuesday. White - CFO since October - acquired 30,000 shares 93.75p each, worth GBP28,125. The total holdings of White and Whiteling after the transactions were not disclosed. ----------Porta Communications said its new co-Chief Executive Officer Emma Kane bought shares worth GBP50,000 in the marketing firm in a transaction. Kane acquired 1.5 million shares at 3.25 pence each. Shares in Porta closed 21% higher at 3.80p. The transaction represents the entirety of Kane's holding in the firm, representing a 0.3% stake. Last Friday, Kane - who had been in charge of Porta subsidiary Redleaf Communications - was appointed co-CEO alongside Brian Tyson after former boss Steffan Williams resigned. ----------
