DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Vislink Chairman Buys Shares After Loss

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday.

Vislink said Chairman John Hawkins bought shares as the video technology company swung to a marginal loss in 2015 due to lower revenue from a key contract.

Hawkins bought 360,086 shares at 27.75 pence each on Tuesday, which takes his total holding to 669,365 shares, equating to a 0.55% stake.

Vislink, which makes technology for live video collection for broadcast, surveillance and public safety markets, said Tuesday it made a GBP994,000 pretax loss for the year to the end of December, compared to a GBP5.4 million profit the year before.

Revenue declined to GBP57.8 million from GBP61.9 million, with the fall in profit driven by lower surveillance order intake in the year due to a large contract with the UK Home Office finishing in the first half.

The stock closed up 6.1% at 28.50p Wednesday.

Aviva said David McMillan, a divisional chief executive, sold 24,000 shares at 481p per share on Monday. The insurer also said Shirley Campbell, a connected person to McMillan, sold 10,400 shares at 474p each. Following the sales, McMillan holds 151,390 shares and Campbell holds 24,505 shares. The stock closed down 0.8% at 471.85p Wednesday.

Compass Group said Non-Executive Director Carol Arrowsmith bought 2,023 shares at a price of 1215.95p per share on Wednesday. Following this purchase, Arrowsmith's shareholding increased to 9,642 shares in the caterer. The stock closed down 0.3% at 1,216.60p Wednesday.

Construction company Kier Group said Non-Executive Director Adam Walker bought 2,000 shares at a price of 1,293p per share on Wednesday. The purchase makes up his entire holding. The stock closed down 0.2% at 1,286.00p Wednesday.

Synety Group said Non-Executive Director Peter Simmonds bought 60,000 shares at 80.0p per share on Tuesday. Following this purchase, Simmonds holds 138,055 shares, or a 1.0% stake in the cloud-based software company. The stock closed up 3.2% at 81.00p Wednesday.

Telit Communications said Chairman Enrico Testa bought 17,500 shares at 219.7p each on Wednesday. Following the purchase, Testa now holds 1.1 million shares, or a 0.92% stake in the group. The stock closed down 3.8% at 216.50p Wednesday.

Housebuilder Telford Homes said Non-Executive Director Frank Nelson bought 14,385 shares at a price of 346.25p per share on Tuesday. Following the purchase, Nelson holds 27,339 shares, equating to a 0.036% stake. The stock closed up 0.4% at 348.79p Wednesday.

Johnston Press said Chairman Ian Russell bought 0,906 shares at 47.50p each on Wednesday. The stock closed down 1.1% at 46.50p Wednesday.

Vianet Group said Chairman James Dickson bought 99,000 shares at 96.0p per share on Tuesday. Following this purchase, Dickson holds 4.7 million shares, which equals a 16.65% stake in the group. The stock closed up 0.5% at 96.01p Wednesday.

Zotefoams said Chairman Designate Steve Good bought his first shares in the cellular material technology company. Good bought 15,000 shares at 271p per share on Monday, which makes up his entire holding. Zotefoams last November said Good had been appointed as chairman designate with immediate effect, in preparation for the retirement of incumbent Nigel Howard on March 31. The stock closed up 1.8% at 285.00p Wednesday.

Good is also a non-executive at industrial services provider Cape who said Good bought 10,000 shares at 238p per share on Tuesday. The purchase makes up his entire holding. The stock closed up 3.6% at 242.00p Wednesday.
