DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Vehicle Of Motorpoint Non-Exec Sells Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Friday.----------Car dealer Motorpoint Group fell as it said shareholder Shoby Investments Partnership has sold shares worth GBP22.5 million in the company, about a 10% stake.Shoby, which is a partnership between Non-Executive Director David Shelton and connected persons, sold 10 million shares at 225 pence each, and it now holds 13.4 million shares, still a 14% stake in the company.Motorpoint shares closed down 9.7% on Friday at a price of 233.00 pence each.The placing was run by Numis Securities and Shore Capital Stockbrokers.As part of the bookbuild, Motorpoint has bought back 1.3 million shares from Shoby at a cost of GBP2.9 million, 13% of the shares being sold by Shoby. The shares bought back by the company are covered by its existing buyback authority and will be cancelled.----------Healthcare software company EMIS Group said Chief Executive Officer Andrew Thorburn purchased 22,445 shares at an aggregate price of 894.9 pence per share on Thursday. It has not been disclosed how many shares Thorburn now holds in the company following the GBP200,860 deal. Shares in EMIS closed down 0.5% at 890.00 pence each on Friday.----------Media and entertainment company Time Out Group said Non-Executive Chairman Peter Dubens purchased 1.5 million shares at a price of 82.7 pence per share on Thursday. It has not been disclosed how many shares Dubens now holds in the company following the GBP1.2 million deal. Shares in Time Out Group closed up 7.1% at 91.0 pence each on Friday----------Symphony International Holdings said that Director Anil Thadani bought 250,000 shares. Thadani acquired the shares at USD0.73 for a total consideration of USD182,500. The director's total holding following the transaction was not disclosed. Symphony shares closed flat at USD0.73.----------Hornby said that Chief Executive Officer and Interim Chairman Lyndon Davies purchased 112,935 shares in the company at 35.42 pence per share. Davies holds an interest in 542,664 shares in the company after his GBP40,001 purchase, representing 0.4% of the total issued shares. Shares in Hornby closed up 7.5% Friday at 36 pence each.----------TClarke said that Caroline Mitchell,a person closely associated with Finance Director Trevor Mitchell purchased 23,000 shares at a price of 82.7 pence per share on Friday, at a total of GBP19.021. It has not been disclosed how many shares Mitchell now holds following this transaction. Shares in TClarke closed down 1.3% at 80.95 pence on Friday.----------SOCO International said that Non-Executive Director John Martin purchased 30,000 shares at a price of 97.3 pence per share on Wednesday, at a total of GBP29,190. The shares purchased makes up the entirety of Martin's shareholding. Shares in SOCO International closed up 1.5% at 96.40 pence on Friday. ----------FTSE 100-listed Smurfit Kappa Group said Non-Executive Director Carol Fairweather bought 3,000 shares at a price of 3,025 pence per share on Thursday. The purchase is her only holding after being appointed in December. Shares in the Irish corrugated packaging company closed up 1.7% at 3,066.00p Friday. ----------Ariana Resources said Chairman Michael de Villiers bought one million shares at a price of 1.385 pence per share on Friday. Following this transaction, de Villiers now holds 48 million shares, which represents a 4.53% stake in the miner. The stock closed up 7.4% at 1.45p Friday. ----------Newspaper publisher Daily Mail & General Trust said Executive Director Paul Dacre sold 33,000 shares at a price of 740 pence per share on Friday. Dacre's total shareholding after the sale was not disclosed. Earlier this month DMGT said Dacre, editor of the Daily Mail, was appointed as chairman and editor-in-chief of DMGT subsidiary Associated Newspapers with effect from October. Dacre will leave his role of editor of the Daily Mail after 28 years in November. He will also step down as a board director of DMGT prior to the end of the financial year. He will be replaced by Geordie Greig who edits the Daily Mail's sister publication the Mail on Sunday. The stock closed up 0.2% at 740.50p Friday. ----------
