DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Stock Spirits Interim CEO Buys Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Tuesday.

Stock Spirits Group said Interim Chief Executive Officer Miroslaw Stachowicz bought 29,718 shares at 168.25 pence per share on Monday.

Stachowicz's total shareholding was undisclosed.

The drinks distributor has been in a dispute with Western Gate, its largest shareholder with a 9.7% stake, since it requested the removal of former Chief Executive Chris Heath back in April.

Heath subsequently stepped down and took early retirement in April. Stachowicz, who has also been an independent non-executive director on the company's board since November 2015, replaced Heath on an interim basis.

The stock closed down 4.1% at 162.00p Tuesday.

Marks & Spencer Group said Chief Financial Officer Helen Weir bought 20,500 shares at 364.51 pence per share Tuesday. Following the purchase, Weir now holds 25,000 shares in the clothing and homewares retailer. The stock closed flat at 363.55p Tuesday.

Anglo-Dutch business information and analytics group RELX PLC on Tuesday said Non-Executive Director Carol Mills bought 3,000 American Depositary Shares at USD18.6627 each on Monday. The purchase makes up her entire holding. One ADS is equal to one ordinary share. RELX shares closed flat at 1,269.91p Tuesday.

Regus said Non-Executive Director Nina Henderson bought 14,300 shares at 318.877 pence per share Monday. Her total shareholding was undisclosed. The stock closed down 0.3% at 313.89p Tuesday.

Sanne Group said Jason Bingham, a director in Sanne's real estate business, sold 76,037 shares at 433.50 pence per share on Tuesday. Following the sale, Bingham now holds 228,112 shares. The stock closed up 1.6% at 441.75p Tuesday.

e2v Technologies said Chief Executive Officer Stephen Blair bought 10,000 shares at a price of 205 pence per share on Tuesday. Following this transaction, Blair now holds 129,338 shares, which represents a 0.1% stake in the group. The stock closed down 0.1% at 204.50p Tuesday.

Car dealer Caffyns said incoming Finance Director Mike Warren bought 5,000 shares at a price of 585 pence per share on Tuesday. The purchase is Warren's only holding in the company. Warren was appointed to the board in May and will assume the role of finance director upon the retirement of incumbent Mark Harrison on July 31. The stock closed flat at 585.00p Tuesday.

Belvoir Lettings said a group of directors agreed to subscribe for shares in the company's placing at a price of 112 pence per share on Tuesday.

Finance Director Louise George acquired 17,857 shares, which doubles her shareholding to 35,107 shares. Non-Executives Andrew Borkowski and Nick Leeming each acquired 8,929 shares, which takes their shareholdings to 24,544 and 24,427 shares respectively.

The company also said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mike Goddard sold 580,357 shares at the placing price for GBP650,000 gross.

Belvoir Lettings on Tuesday said it has raised GBP2.5 million in the share placing, which will partly fund its conditional agreement to buy independent UK lettings franchise Northwood GB Ltd for GBP22.0 million.

In the placing, which took place on Tuesday morning, 2.2 million shares raised proceeds of GBP2.5 million. The placing shares represent 6.6% of Belvoir's enlarged share capital, the company said.

Belvoir said, on completion of the deal, it would be the largest property franchise group in the UK.

The stock closed up 3.9% at 121.50p Tuesday.

Value & Income Trust PLC said Joint Investment Manager Matthew Oakeshott bought 100,000 shares at a price of 237 pence per share Tuesday.

The shares were acquired in the name of the Coltstaple Charitable Trust, of which Oakeshott is a Trustee. The trust holds 232,500 shares.

Matthew Oakeshott holds 2.7 million shares, or a 6.02% stake. The Oakeshott family holds 2.5 million shares, or a 5.6% stake.

The stock closed up 3.2% at 240.00p Tuesday.

Premier Veterinary Group said Chief Executive Officer Dominic Tonner sold 50,000 shares at 140 pence per share on Monday. Following the sale, Tonner now holds 2.6 million shares, which equals a 18.64% stake in the group. The stock closed down 4.3% at 138.75p Tuesday.

Infrastructure investor and manager John Laing Group said Chief Executive Olivier Brousse bought shares in the company on Tuesday. Brousse bought 3,500 shares at 221p per share, taking his total holding up to 145,318 shares. John Laing shares closed up 0.6% at 222.80p on Thursday.

Actual Experience said Chief Operating Officer Robin Young bought 3,500 shares at a price of 274.90 pence per share Tuesday. Following the purchase, Young has an interest in 7,200 shares, representing 0.02% of the issued share capital. The stock closed down 2.7% at 274.90p Tuesday.

Carclo said Desiree Slabbert, wife of Non-Executive Director Peter Slabbert, purchased 10,000 shares at 158.36 pence each on Tuesday. The purchase makes up Peter Slabbert's entire holding. The stock closed up 3.4% at 160.00p Tuesday.
