DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Scardino Buys 30,000 PureTech Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Thursday.

PureTech Health said Non-Executive Director Marjorie Scardino bought 10,000 shares in a deal worth GBP13,500 on Wednesday.

The healthcare and medical research company also said Scardino bought 20,000 shares for GBP27,100 on Tuesday. The two deals were conducted at about 135.0 pence and 135.5p, respectively.

Scardino was appointed to PureTech's board in May and was chief executive of publisher Pearson from 1997 to 2012. She is also a member of the non-profit boards of Oxfam, The Royal College of Art, and The Carter Center, as well as the for-profit boards of Twitter, where she sits on the audit committee, and International Consolidated Airlines Group.

Following this transaction, Scardino holds 762,603 shares, representing a 0.32% stake in the firm.

The stock closed at 140.00p, up 2.2% Thursday.

UK Mail Group said Chief Executive Officer Guy Buswell bought 8,940 shares at a price of 386.25 pence per share Thursday. Following this transaction, Buswell holds voting rights attached to 295,057 shares representing 0.54% of the issued share capital. Shares in the delivery service closed up 1.3% at 380.00p Thursday.

Technical products and services company Diploma said Chairman John Nicholas purchased 3,000 shares at 666 pence per share on Thursday. Nicholas now owns 5,000 shares. Diploma on Wednesday said its revenue growth has been held back by the slowdown in the oil and gas industry and sluggish European industrial markets and said its underlying operating margin for its full year will take a hit. The stock closed up 3.3% at 682.00p Thursday.

Computacenter said Non-Executive Chairman Greg Lock bought 27,300 and Rosemary Lock, a connected person of Greg Lock, had also purchased a total of 16,778 shares at a price of 774.2 pence per share Wednesday. Following this transaction, Greg Lock's beneficial holding is 435,000 shares, representing approximately 0.35% of the issued share capital. Shares in the information technology company closed up 1.0% at 775.00p Thursday.
