DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Rotork Directors Buy After Profit Warning

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Monday.

Rotork said Non-Executive Chairman Martin Lamb bought 50,000 shares on Friday in a deal worth GBP93,921. The shares were bought at around GBP1.87 each, and following this transaction, Lamb holds 70,000 shares.

The company also said Non-Executive Director Gary Bullard bought on Friday a total of 10,000 shares at about the same price. He now holds 45,060 shares.

Last Thursday, shares in Rotork plummeted after it issued a profit warning saying tough trading conditions in the third quarter had resulted in project delays and cancellations which meant its profit for the full year will miss expectations.

This led to JPMorgan Cazenove and Exane BNP Paribas lowering their target prices on the actuators and flow control products manufacturer on Monday, adding to the slew of ratings and price target downgrades at the end of last week

Shares in Rotork closed down 6.2% at 175.10p Monday, one of the worst performers in the FTSE 250.

Berkeley Group Holdings said the wife of Chairman Andrew Pigley sold 337,029 shares at a price of 3,410p per share Friday. The deal is worth about GBP1.1 million gross. Following this transaction, the Pidgleys hold a total interest in 6.1 million shares. Shares in the property development closed up 0.7% at 3,419.00p Monday, which also is the day the company joined the FTSE 100.

FTSE 250 lender Virgin Money Holdings said Non-Executive Director Gordon McCallum bought 13,918 and 5,065 shares on Friday at a price of GBP3.9515 and GBP3.945 per share respectively. His total shareholding was undisclosed. The stock closed flat at 394.93p Monday.

Mulberry Group said Finance Director Roger Mather sold 23,500 shares at an average price of 895p per share Friday. He also sold 13,000 shares last week. Mather will leave Mulberry in 2016 after eight years with the company. Following this transaction, Mather's beneficial interest consists of 83,883 shares representing 0.14% of the shares in issue. Shares in the luxury handbag maker closed up 0.5% at 900.50p Monday.

City of London Investment Trust said Non-Executive Director Samantha Wren bought 4,000 shares at a price of 375.6p per share Friday. The purchase is her only holding after being appointed in September. The stock closed up 0.8% at 376.50p Monday.

Synety Group said Chief Executive Officer Mark Seemann bought 1,235 shares at 87.9p each. Following the purchase, Seemann is interested in 917,612 shares, representing approximately 7.56% of the group's total voting rights. The company also said Chief Financial Officer Paul Williams bought 10,000 shares at 87.9p each. He holds 84,057 shares representing approximately 0.69% of the group's total voting rights. Shares in the cloud-based software company closed up 3.6% at 89.64p Monday.

Henderson Opportunities Trust said Non-Executive Director Frances Daley bought 1,500 and 500 shares at a price of 994.88p and 991.84p per share, respectively. The purchases are her only holding after being appointed in June. Shares closed up 0.2% at 994.88p Monday.
