DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Old Mutual Boss Sells GBP250,000 In Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Tuesday.

Anglo-South African financial services group Old Mutual said Chief Executive Bruce Hemphill sold shares on Monday. Hemphill sold 133,963 shares in Old Mutual at 191.92 pence per share, making the transaction worth GBP257,102. His total holding following the sale was not disclosed. Shares in Old Mutual closed up 0.9% to 195.14p on Tuesday.

Midwich Group said Managing Director Stephen Fenby bought shares in the audio-visual and document services distributor. On Tuesday, Fenby bought 100,000 shares at 203.50 pence per share, taking his total holding up to 22.3 million shares or 28% of the issued share capital. Shares in Midwich closed down 0.5% to 200.00p on Tuesday.

Flowtech Fluidpower said its Chief Financial Officer and his wife purchased and sold an equal number of shares on Monday. Flowtech said Jennifer Brooks, the wife of its chief financial officer, sold 5,979 shares at 127.50 pence per share, and the same number of shares were then bought by CFO Bryce Brooks at the same price. Following the transaction, Brooks's interest remains unchanged at 94,000 shares, representing around a 0.22% stake in Flowtech. Shares in Flowtech closed down 1.6% at 125.53p on Tuesday.

Ubisense Group said Kestrell Partners purchased 46,000 shares at 40.00 pence per share on Monday on behalf of its clients. Kestrel is the investment manager to Kestrel Opportunities, which is a cell of Guernsey Portfolios PCC and other clients. Ubisense's Non-Executive Director Oliver Scott is a partner of and holds a beneficial interest in Kestrel, as well as being a shareholder in Kestrel Opportunities.

The 46,000 shares were acquired on behalf of Kestrel Opportunities and, following the transaction, the group held 11.6 million shares, which Scott is deemed to have a beneficial interest in. Meanwhile, Kestrel indirectly holds voting rights over 15.7 million Ubisense shares, or around a 28% stake. Ubisense did not say how many shares Scott held following the transaction. Shares in location intelligence services company Ubisense were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at 40.00p.

Ecofin Global Utilities & Infrastructure Trust said Non-Executive Director Martin Negre has bought shares in the company. On Tuesday, Negre bought 130,465 shares at 121.50p per share, taking his total holding to 900,000 shares in the trust. The transaction is worth GBP163,211. Shares in the trust closed down 1.8% to 121.00p on Tuesday.

Fidelity Special Values said Non-Executive Director Nigel Foster has bought shares in the company. On Tuesday, Foster purchased 10,000 shares at 198.70 pence per share. He currently holds 30,000 shares in the fund. Fidelity Special Values shares closed up 0.9% to 200.00p on Tuesday.
