LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday.

Alliance Trust said its new Chairman Robert Smith bought 3,000 shares at 498.22 pence per share on Wednesday.
The purchase makes up Smith's entire holding in the FTSE 250 company. He was appointed in January, and serves also as the chairman of engineering company IMI.
A boardroom shake-up saw Karin Forseke, the trust's former chair, leave at the end of 2015. Katherine Garrett-Cox, the former group chief executive, left her role as chief executive of the company's investments arm earlier in March.
The stock closed up 1.5% at 500.50p Wednesday.

Fulham Shore said Chairman David Page sold 4.0 million shares at 16.5p each on Wednesday. The company said the shares were placed with an existing shareholder. As a result of this sale, Page holds around 84 million shares, equating to a 14.76% stake in the eatery owner and operator. The stock closed down 4.4% at 16.50p Wednesday.

Insurer Aviva said Non-Executive Director Claudia Arney bought 14,000 shares at a price of 489.9 pence per share on Tuesday. The purchase makes up Arney's entire holding after taking up the role in February. Arney is also currently a non-executive at Derwent London. The property company said Arney bought 2,500 shares at a price of 3,064p per share on Monday. The purchase is Arney's only holding after being appointed in April 2015. Shares in Derwent closed up 0.9% at 3,076.00p and Aviva closed up 1.4% at 482.90p Wednesday.

Hansteen Holdings said Non-Executive Director David Rough bought 5,000 shares at 109.80 pence per share Tuesday. The company also said Barbara Rough, David Rough's wife, bought 5,000 shares at 109.85p each. After the purchases, David Rough holds 10,000 shares in the real estate investment trust. The stock closed up 0.6% at 109.60p Wednesday.

Rank Group said Chief Information Officer Keith Woodcock bought 11,657 shares at 254.95 pence per share Wednesday. The purchase makes up his entire holding. Shares in the casino and betting services company closed up 0.6% at 253.70p Wednesday.

Jupiter Fund Management said Non-Executive Director Jonathon Bond bought 6,384 shares at a price of 391.60p per share Tuesday. Following this purchase, Bond now holds 18,294 shares. The stock closed up 0.3% at 394.50p Wednesday.

Majedie Investments said Non-Executive Director Paul Gadd bought 10,000 shares at 244.95p per share on Wednesday. Following the purchase, Gadd now holds 51,260 shares, which represents a 0.1% stake in the trust. The stock closed up 2.4% at 248.00p Wednesday.

British Polythene Industries said Company Secretary Hilary Kane sold 1,600 shares at a price of 707p per share on Wednesday. Following the sale, Kane now holds 1,400 shares. Shares in the polythene company were up 2.1% at 725.00p Wednesday.

Non-Standard Finance said Chief Financial Officer Nicholas Teunon bought 10,000 shares at a price of 73p per share on Tuesday. Following this transaction, Teunon holds 40,921 shares representing an 0.014% stake in the consumer lender. The stock closed down 0.4% at 73.28p Wednesday.

Braemar Shipping Services said Denis Petropoulos, a regional president, bought 19,500 shares at a price of 429 pence per share on Monday. Following this transaction, Petropoulos now holds 620,934 shares, which represents 2.06% stake in the group. Shares in the shipping services provider closed flat at 429.0p Wednesday.
