LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Tuesday.

Aerospace and defence components engineer Meggitt said Non-Executive Director Colin Day bought shares in the company on Monday. Day bought 25,000 shares for 383.90 pence per share.
Day joined the board of the company on October 1. He is the chief executive of chemicals company Essentra and is the former chief financial officer of consumer goods giant Reckitt Benckiser Group.
Shares in Meggitt closed down 2.3% to 375.39p on Tuesday.

Cloud solutions provider SDL said Chairman David Clayton bought 73,950 shares in the company at 402.37 pence each last Friday. Following this, Clayton holds 113,950 shares representing 0.1% of the company's issued share capital. Meanwhile, Non-Executive Director Chris Batterham bought 13,105 shares at 407.74p on Tuesday. He now holds 100,000 shares representing 0.1% of the company's issued share capital. Shares in SDL closed down 0.6% at 406.25p on Tuesday.

Laird said Non-Executive Director Kjersti Wiklund bought 9,000 shares in the company, which provides performance materials and wireless systems. Wiklund bought 2,800 shares at 350.768 pence each on Friday and 6,200 shares at 347.500p each on Tuesday. Following this, Wiklund holds 10,000 shares representing 0.004% of the company's issued share capital. Shares in Laird closed down 0.1% at 347.00p on Tuesday.

City of London Investment Group said Business Development Director Carlos Yuste sold the remainder of his shareholding in the company on Monday. Yuste, who is resigning from the board as of December 31, sold 27,425 shares at 336 pence each, after selling 300,000 shares at 325p each in October. Also on Monday, Mark Dwyer, director of CLIG and City of London Investment Management, bought 15,000 shares in the company at 336p each. He now holds 25,000 shares representing 0.1% of the company's issued share capital. Shares in City of London Investment Group closed up 0.1% at 349.00p on Tuesday.
