LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Thursday.

Multi-commodities miner and trading house Glencore said Independent Non-Executive Director John Mack bought shares in the company on Tuesday. Mack bought 550,000 shares in the FTSE 100 company for 80.78 pence per share, giving the acquisition a total value of GBP444,290. Glencore did not define Mack's total shareholding after the transaction.
Mack is the former chief executive and chairman of US investment bank Morgan Stanley and was at the helm of Morgan Stanley when Lehman Brothers collapsed in 2008, sparking the global financial crisis. He stepped down as the bank's chief executive in 2009 and retired as chairman in 2011.
Glencore had said on Wednesday that Chairman Tony Hayward acquired 100,000 shares in the company for 90.89p apiece. The multi-commodities miner and trading house did not state Hayward's stake following the purchase. Hayward also is the chairman of oil and gas company Genel Energy and was the chief executive of oil major BP when the Gulf of Mexico oil spill occurred in 2010.
On Tuesday, when Mack bought his shares, Glencore closed the day up 17%, recovering some of the 29% fall it took on Monday following concerns raised by broker Investec that the company's equity value could all but "evaporate" should commodity prices remain low and should it fail to undertaken substantial restructuring of its debt obligations.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, Glencore shares closed sharply higher after it defended its financial position and said it remains confident in its outook. After fluctuating between gains and losses Thursday, the stock ended up 3.5% to 94.72p, continuing the volatile trading it has seen in recent weeks.

Online fashion retailer boohoo.com said Joint Chief Executive Mahmud Kamani has gifted 76.4 million shares to his brother and to a trust established for his children. Kamani gifted 61.7 million shares, representing 5.5% of the company's issued share capital, to his brother Nurez Kamani, and 14.7 million shares, representing 1.3% of the company's issued share capital, to a trust to be established for his children. Kamani now holds 198.9 million shares, representing 17.7% of the company's issued share capital. Altogether, the Kamani Concert Party has a total holding of 479.4 million shares, representing 42.7% of boohoo.com's issued share capital. boohoo.com shares ended Thursday up 1.5% at 33.00 pence per share.

RM2 International said it has successfully completed the bookbuild in respect of the placing of 75 million shares, raising GBP30 million of gross proceeds. The company, which develops and sells shipping pallets and provides related logistical services, said that the shares were placed at 40 pence each with new and existing shareholders and certain directors.
Chief Executive John Walsh subscribed for 4.2 million shares, and following the placing will hold 26.4 million shares representing 6.6% of the company's issued share capital.
Chairman Ian Molson subscribed for 1.6 million shares, and following the placing will hold 11 million shares representing 2.8% of RM2's issued share capital.
The placing shares represent approximately 23% of the company's issued share capital prior to the placing. RM2 will use the proceeds of the placing to fund the production of pallets, for working capital and sales and for general administrative costs.
Shares in RM2 closed down 6.1% at 42.25p Thursday.

Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust said Executive Director Beatrice Hollond purchased 6,250 shares in the company at GBP3.986923 per share on Wednesday. The deal represents her first purchase of shares, giving her around a 0.0020% stake in the company following the transaction. Templeton shares closed up 0.2% to 400.00 pence per share on Thursday.

River and Mercantile Group said Chief Financial Officer Kevin Hayes purchased 14,000 shares at 292.0 pence per share on Wednesday. Following the transaction, Hayes has a total of 207,932 shares in the company, representing a 0.25% stake. River and Mercantile shares closed up 4.7% to 245.00p on Thursday.

Crimson Tide said Technical Director Luke Jeffrey purchased 63,600 shares in the company on Wednesday at a price of 1.75 pence per share. The purchase was his first, giving him a total of 63,600 shares in the company, which represents a very minor stake in the business. Crimson Tide shares closed up 1.5% to 1.75p on Thursday.

Sierra Rutile said Non-Executive Director Richard Lister purchased 25,000 shares in the company on Tuesday at a price of 17.50 pence per share. Following the transaction, Lister is interested in 685,000 shares, representing a 0.013% stake in the company. Sierra Rutile shares closed down 6.8% at 17.25p on Thursday.

Learning Technologies Group Deputy Chairman Harry Hill bought 13,000 shares in the company at 23.069 pence, and a further 165,000 shares at the same price, on Wednesday. Following these buys Hill has an interest in 2.0 million shares, or a less than 1.0% interest. Shares in Learning Technologies were untraded Thursday at 24.52p.

Capital & Regional said Rose Trust has acquired another 21,352 shares in the company for 66.99 pence per share. The transaction took place on Wednesday, the same day the trust acquired 2,648 shares in the company for 66.5p per share, which the property developer disclosed on Wednesday. Robyn Merrington, Non-Executive Director Louis Norval's daughter, is a beneficiary of Rose Trust. Following the transaction Norval and his beneficial interests hold a total of 172.9 million shares in Capital & Regional, or a 24.67% stake in the company. Shares in Capital & Regional closed down 1.9% to 65.99p Thursday.

Moss Bros Group said Non-Executive Director Zoe Morgan bought 2,356 shares at a price of 95.42 pence, and a further 10,837 shares at a price of 94.34 pence Thursday. Following the transaction Morgan holds 76,897 shares in the company, or a less than 1.0% interest. Shares in Moss Bros closed up 0.8% at 95.00p Thursday.

Shanta Gold said Chief Executive Officer Toby Bradbury bought 100,000 shares in the company at 5.20 pence each Wednesday. Following this transaction Bradbury has an interest in 150,000 shares in the company, or a less than 1.0% interest. Shares in Shanta closed down 1.7% at 4.91p Thursday.

Globalworth Real Estate Investments said it has raised gross proceeds of EUR53.8 million in its share placing, exceeding the amount it had initially expected to raise. Last week, the company said it would issue around 5.8 million shares at EUR6.00 each in order to raise EUR35.0 million. However it revealed on Thursday that it had significantly exceeded the amount raised by EUR18.8 million.
Lenuta Ltd, which is owned by Globalworth Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer Dimitris Raptis, subscribed EUR195,000 for 32,500 shares, increasing Raptis's shareholding to 193,348 shares representing 0.3% of the company's issued share capital.
Globalworth said last week that the funds would be used for new investments, including a portfolio in Romania, plus funding for its ongoing development projects.
Shares in Globalworth were untraded on Thursday at 5.80 pence.

Active Energy Group said Chief Executive Richard Spinks bought 200,000 shares in the company at 5.7 pence each on Wednesday. Following the transaction, Spinks holds 10 million shares, representing 1.7% of the company's issued share capital. Shares in Active Energy ended up 3.5% at 5.95p Thursday.

Software-as-a-service company Access Intelligence said Non-Executive Chairman Michael Jackson sold 5.0 million shares in the company on Thursday for 4.0 pence per share, worth GBP200,000. Jackson sold the shares in order to cover an accelerated payment notice he received from the UK tax authority, HM Revenue & Customs, in relation to his personal tax affairs, Access said. He now owns 20.9 million shares in the company, or a 7.5% stake. The stock ended Thursday up 1.0% at 5.05p.
