DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Kier CEO Buys Shares After Trading Update

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Monday and late on Friday.

Property, construction and support services company Kier Group said Chief Executive Haydn Mursell has bought shares in the company. Mursell bought 4,617 shares at 1,075.00 pence per share. His total holding following the transaction was not disclosed.

The shares were bought as the company said underlying trading in the business had been in line with its expectations and said it will focus its attention on its simplification strategy, kicking off a review to determine which operations are non-core based on its long-term outlook.

Shares in Kier closed down 6.0% at 987.00p.

Goals Soccer Centres said President Keith Rogers sold shares in the company in the two days leading up to the UK's referendum on its European Union membership. The five-a-side football centres operator said Rogers sold 25,000 shares at 115.00 pence per share on June 22 and 45,000 shares at 112.00p apiece on June 23. Following the sales, Rogers's total beneficial holding in the company is just under 4.0 million shares, or around a 5.3% stake in the business. Goals Soccer Centres shares closed down 2.5% at 97.00p.

Lender Aldermore Group said Chairman Glyn Jones bought shares in the company on Thursday last week. Jones bought 100,000 shares at 118.88 pence per share, taking his total holding to 881,488 shares or a 0.3% stake in the business. Shares in Aldermore closed up 0.9% at 123.1p.

Oil services company Hunting said Chairman Richard Hunting bought shares on Thursday, and the voting rights of those shares have been transferred to his Hunting Investments vehicle. The chairman bought 3,277 shares at 476.00 pence. Those will be transferred to the Hunting Investments voting committee, giving the vehicle 25.5 million shares in Hunting, or a 17% stake. Hunting shares closed up 1.9% at 485.5p.

Vianet Group said Chairman James Dickson's pension fund bought 5,000 shares in the company on Friday. Dickson bought the shares at 95.00 pence per share, taking his total beneficial holding to 4.7 million shares, or a 17% stake in the company. Shares in Vianet, which makes monitoring systems for the leisure and vending sectors, closed up 2.1% at 96.00p.

AB Dynamics said Managing Director Tim Rogers sold shares in the company on Friday. Rogers sold 34,748 shares at 395.00 pence per share, leaving him with 422,953 shares in the company, or a 2.4% stake. Shares in the company, which designs, makes and supplies advanced testing systems and measurement products, closed down 1.2% at 400.27p.

Housebuilder Telford Homes said Land Director James Furlong has bought shares in the company. Furlong bought 48,917 shares in the company at 301.00 pence per share. His total holding following the purchase was not disclosed. Telford shares closed down 2.4% at 289.75p.

Equipment rental company Ashtead Group said Independent Non-Executive Director Wayne Edmunds has bought shares in the company. Edmunds bought 7,000 shares at 1,079.00 pence per share. His total holding following the transaction was not disclosed. Ashtead shares closed down 0.6% at 1,072.26p.

Fulcrum Utility Services said Non-Executive Director Stephen Gutteridge sold shares in the company on Friday and again on Monday. Gutteridge sold 25,000 shares at 39.15 pence per share on Friday and 15,000 at 39.10p on Monday. Also on Monday, Gutteridge transferred 60,000 shares currently held in his wife's name to another account controlled by him. This was done via a sale and purchase at 39.46p and 39.54p, Fulcrum said. Following the transactions, Gutteridge's beneficial interest in the company totalled 329,166 shares, or a 0.2% stake in the business. Shares in the multi-utility infrastructure and services provider closed down 1.3% at 39.00p.

North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust said Director Greville Howard bought shares in the trust on Friday. Lord Howard of Rising bought 3,000 shares at 2,180.00 pence per share, his only holding in the company. Shares in the trust closed up 0.1% at 2,131.00p.

Lowland Investment Co said Non-Executive Independent Chairman Peter Troughton has bought shares in the company. Troughton bought 1,244 shares at 1,217.5 pence per share, taking his total holding to 22,140 shares or a 0.08% stake. Lowland shares closed down 2.4% at 1,198.64p.

Dixons Carphone on Friday said its Deputy Chairman Lord Livingston of Parkhead purchased 15,236 shares at 325.70 pence per share in his first share purchase on Friday. Following the transaction, Livingston holds 15,236 shares. Shares in Dixons Carphone closed down 2.6% at 314.32p.

Ventilation products supplier Volution Group said Friday Non-Executive Director Adrian Barden bought 10,000 shares at 144 pence per share on Friday. Following the transaction, Barden holds 107,725 shares in the company, or a 0.05% stake. Shares in Volution closed down 3.4% at 136.25p.

U & I Group on Friday said Deputy Chief Executive Richard Upton acquired 30,850 shares at 160 pence each on Friday. Upton now owns 2.9 million shares in the company, equivalent to a 2.35% stake. Shares in the property regeneration company closed down 1.9% at 154.75p.
