DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Kaz Minerals Chairman And Finance Chief Buy

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday.

Kaz Minerals said its chairman and members of his family, plus its chief financial officer, all bought shares in the company on Tuesday, the same day the group reached a deal to defer payment to a construction contract on its Atkogay project.

Chairman Simon Heale, his wife and his daughter all bought shares in the company on Tuesday. Heale and his wife, Catriona, bought 58,000 and 2,000 shares respectively, both at 81.825 pence per share. His daughter, Agi Heale Chadda, bought 17,655 shares at 84.466p per share. Following the transaction, Heale total beneficial interest in the business is 228,655 shares, or a 0.05% stake in the company.

Separately, Chief Financial Officer Andrew Southam also bought shares in the company on Tuesday. Southam bought 99,238 shares in Kaz at 80.1991 pence per share, taking his total shareholding to 137,097 shares.

On Tuesday, Kaz reached an agreement with its main construction contractor on the Atkogay project to defer payment of USD300.0 million. Under the revised terms of its agreement with Non Ferrous China, the USD300.0 million in construction costs which had been due to be paid in 2016 and 2017 will now be settled in 2018.

Kaz shares closed down 2.0% at 90.35p on Wednesday.

Printed materials and services company Grafenia said the civil partner of its acting chief executive and a non-executive director have bought shares in the company.

Peter Gunning, the group's acting CEO, informed the company on Friday that Paul Ingrouille, his civil partner, bought 53,006 shares in the company at 12.25 pence per share. The transaction increased Gunning's total beneficial holding to 939,587 shares, or a 2.0% stake in the business.

In addition, Conrad Bona, a non-executive director of the company, bought 100,000 shares in November 11 at 13.0p per share, 100,000 on November 12 for 12.5p per share and another 100,000 on Tuesday at 12.5p. The shares are his entire holding and give him a 0.7% stake in the company.

Shares in Grafenia closed up 0.6% to 11.95p on Wednesday.

Property investor U and I Group said its chief executive's wife, its deputy chief executive and its finance director have all bought shares in the company.

Lucy Weiner, the wife of chief executive Matthew, bought 15,500 shares in the company at 229.00 pence per share on Tuesday, increasing Weiner's beneficial interest to 211,213 shares. Deputy Chief Executive Richard Upton bought 30,750 shares at 228.00p per share, increasing his holding to 2.8 million shares, or a 2.3% stake. Finance Director Marcus Shepherd and his wife, Rebecca King, bought 8,629 shares at 231.75p per share, increasing their shareholding to 119,925 shares.

U and I recently changed its name from Development Securities PLC, following from its acquisition of Cathedral Group, the London-based regeneration developer. Shares in U and I closed up 0.4% at 228.00p.

Trading software developer TechFinancials said Chief Executive Asaf Lahav bought shares in the company on Tuesday. Lahav bought 5,714 shares at 17.5 pence per share, taking his total shareholding to 9.1 million shares, or a 13% stake in the company. Shares in TechFinancials closed up 5.3% at 17.9p.

Outsourcer Serco Group said Chairman Roy Gardner has bought shares in the company. Gardner bought 25,000 shares in the company on Wednesday for 99.3755 pence per share. Gardner took over the chairmanship of Serco in July, having previously worked as the chief executive of energy company Centrica PLC and as the chairman of Compass Group, the blue-chip catering services and outsourcing business. Serco shares closed up 0.4% to 100.1p.

BAE Systems said a the wife of Chairman Roger Carr bought shares in the company on Wednesday. Stephanie Carr bought 41,978 shares in the company at 472.88 pence each. Shares in the defence contractor closed up 0.6% at 476.6p.

Machine-to-machine communications company Telit Communications said Chairman Enrico Testa has bought shares in the business. Testa bought 38,000 shares in Telit for 190.00p per share on Wednesday. His total holding is now 1.0 million shares, or a 0.9% stake. Telit shares closed up 4.3% at 187.74004p.

Ocean Wilsons Holdings said that Chairman José Francisco Gouvêa Vieira bought 1,000 shares in the company at 765 pence each one day ago. That gives the chairman a total of 152,600 shares in the Bermuda-based investment company, which through a subsidiary operates as a maritime services company in Brazil. His shares equate to 0.43% of the company. Shares in Ocean Wilsons closed up 0.3% at 760.00p.

Centaur Media said Chief Executive Andria Vidler bought shares in the company on Tuesday. Vidler bought 13,750 shares at 72.00 pence per share, taking her total shareholding up to 137,919 shares. Shares in the content and events company closed down 3.2% at 69.00p.

Carr's Group said the wife of its chairman has sold shares in the company. Sue Holmes, the wife of Chairman Chris Holmes, sold 12,500 shares on Wednesday at 169.10 pence per share. The sale leaves Holmes with an interest in 1.2 million Carr's shares, or 1.4% of the company's issued share capital. Shares in the agriculture, food and engineering company closed down 0.8% at 170.6875p.
