DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Investec Director Sells GBP5 Million In Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday.----------Investec said that Managing Director Bernard Kantor sold GBP4.96 million worth of shares in the company.Kantor sold 600,000 shares in the company at ZAR102.14, or GBP6.19, per share on Monday. He further sold 200,000 shares at ZAR103.23 per share on Tuesday.The director's total shareholding following the transaction was not disclosed.London listed shares in the asset manager closed up 0.1% at 641.00 pence.----------Water Intelligence said it raised GBP4.2 million through an oversubscribed share placing and subscription to part fund a USD1.7 million US acquisition. The leak detection firm raised GBP3.6 million through placing of 1.9 million shares at a price of 195 pence each. A further GBP600,000 was raised via subscription of 325,166 shares at the same price. In total, Water Intelligence issued 2.2 million shares in the fund raise. Of these, 151,184 were issued from treasury. In addition, Executive Chairman Patrick DeSouza agreed to exercise 300,000 options over shares. These he will then sell to incoming investors at the same price as the placing. After the sale, DeSouza will hold 4.2 million voting rights, or 27.5% stake, in the firm. Non-Executive Directors Michael Reisman and Laura Hills acquired shares under the subscription deal. Reisman acquired 7,379 shares worth GBP14,625 and Hills 22,136 shares worth GBP43,165. After the transactions, Reisman held 173,466 shares, or a 1.1% stake, and Hills 89,311 shares, or 0.6% stake, in the company. Executive Director David Silverstone sold 38,500 share at the issue price - worth GBP78,075 - in order to settle tax liabilities. After the transaction, Silverstone holds no shares in Water Intelligence. Earlier on Wednesday, Water Intelligence said the proceeds would be used to accelerate its growth strategy. To this end, some of the proceeds will go towards its USD1.7 million acquisition of the Louisville, Kentucky-based American Leak Detection franchise. After the placing - which expects to be admitted to trading next Tuesday - Water Intelligence will have 15.2 million shares outstanding. Of these, 13.9 million are ordinary shares and a further 1.4 million partly-paid shares. Shares in Water Intelligence closed up 2.8% at 208.74p.----------Yolo Leisure and Technology said that Chief Executive Simon Robinson bought 2.6 million shares in the firm. Shares in the company closed up 24% at 0.433p each. Robinson bought the shares on Wednesday at a price of 0.38 pence each for a total of GBP10,000. The investment company said Robinson now holds 13.9 million Yolo shares, worth 3.2% on the company's existing share capital.----------FastForward Innovations said its Chief Executive Lorne Abony plans to sell 12.2 million shares in the company for GBP2.2 million. The stock will be sold at a price of 17.60 pence per share in an off-market transaction, with the date not specified. The shares represent 9.4% of FastForward's issued share capital, and are to be sold to US entrepreneur Peter Saladino, a seed investor of Nuuvera Inc, in which FastForward has a 3.4% stake. FastForward did not say how many shares, if any, Abony will hold after the proposed sale. Abony said: "Peter's intention to invest in the company demonstrates his confidence in both the management of FastForward and our investment portfolio. "I will remain chief executive officer of the company, one of its largest shareholders and completely committed to delivering results for all FastForward shareholders in the future, despite the proposed sale of half of my shareholding." Shares closed up 4.3% at 18.65p.----------Student property developer Watkin Jones said that Chief Executive Officer Mark Jones sold 1.5% stake in the company, worth GBP7.4 million, to facilitate the final settlement of his divorce proceedings. Jones sold 3.8 million ordinary shares at 195 pence per share earlier during the day. Following the trade, Jones holds 3.8 million shares. The Watkin Jones Family continues to hold 70.6 million shares, representing 27.64% of the issued share capital. Shares in Watkin Jones closed down 0.7% at 201.50p.----------Polar Capital Global Healthcare Trust said Non-Executive Director Neal Ransome bought 10,073 ordinary shares at an aggregate price of 192.2p per share on Wednesday. The purchase represents Ransome's only holding in the investment trust. Shares in the company closed 0.8% lower at 191.50p.----------Harworth Group said that Finance Director Andrew Kirkman bought 60,000 shares at 110.81 pence per share. Kirkman bought the shares on Tuesday. His total shareholding following the purchase was not disclosed. Shares in the brownfield land regeneration company closed 1.0% higher at 110.05p.----------Spire Healthcare Group said that Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Justin Ash bought 46,500 ordinary shares at 215.2 pence each on Tuesday. Ash holds a total of 220,100 shares in the company following the purchase. Shares in the hospital group closed 0.8% higher at 213.40p.----------Ecofin Global Utilities & Infrastructure Trust said that Non-Executive Director David Simpson purchased 21,739 shares at 116 pence per share on Wednesday. The director's total shareholding following the purchase was not disclosed. Shares in the trust closed un-traded at 115p.----------
