DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Hydrogen Chair And Non-Executive Buy

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday and late on Tuesday.

Hydrogen Group said Chairman Stephen Puckett and Non-Executive Director Richard Green bought shares Tuesday. Puckett bought 400,000 shares at a price of 30.00 pence each, whilst Green bought 166,666 shares at the same price.

The subsequent shareholdings of Puckett and Green in the recruitment firm were not disclosed. Shares in Hydrogen were untraded Wednesday, last closing at 34.00 pence Wednesday.

Speedy Hire said Non-Executive Director David Shearer bought 100,000 shares at a price of 42.5 pence Wednesday.

Shearer's subsequent shareholding was not disclosed.

The tool and equipment hire firm had said earlier Wednesday its recovery is now well established as it reported a swing to profit and robust revenue growth in the first half of its financial year and said it anticipates outpacing its expectations for the full year.

Speedy Hire said it made a pretax profit of GBP5.4 million in the half to the end of September, compared to a GBP13.5 million loss made a year prior due to restructuring costs the group booked.

Shares in Speedy Hire closed up 15% at 42.25 pence Wednesday.

Science in Sport said Chief Executive Stephen Moon bought shares in the company on Tuesday. Moon acquired 10,000 shares at 62.00 pence apiece, taking his total holding up to 726,313 shares or 1.7% of the company. Shares in the sports nutrition company closed up 2.4% at 63.00p on Wednesday.

Private healthcare group Mediclinic International said its chief executive bought South Africa-listed shares in the company on Tuesday. Mediclinic said Chief Executive Daniel Meintjes bought 2,200 shares at ZAR133.84 per share. His total holding following the transaction was not disclosed. Mediclinic's London-listed shares closed down 0.1% to 748.34p on Wednesday.

Property developer Town Centre Securities said its Finance Director bought shares in the company on November 7. Duncan Syers bought 1,415 shares at 274.95 pence per share. His total holding following the transaction was not disclosed. Town Centre Securities shares closed down 1.1% to 284.00p on Wednesday.

Henderson Opportunities Trust said Non-Executive Director Peter Jones acquired 2,500 shares at a price of 790.58 pence Tuesday. Jones's subsequent shareholding was not disclosed. Shares in Henderson Opportunities closed down 1.5% at 763.80p Wednesday.

Vodafone Group on Tuesday said Non-Executive Director Valerie Gooding bought 16,970 shares Tuesday at a price of 206.24 pence. Shares in Vodafone closed down 1.1% at 204.58 pence Wednesday.

Grafenia said Chief Executive Peter Gunning bought 250,000 shares at 8.00 pence each on Wednesday. Following this, Gunning holds 1.3 million shares, representing 2.8% of the company's issued share capital. Shares in Grafenia closed down 1.3% at 7.40p on Wednesday.

Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust said Michael Balfour, a director of the company, bought 24,000 shares at 86.50 pence each. This was Balfour's first share purchase, giving him a holding of 0.0063% of the company's issued share capital. Shares in the company closed flat at 86.00 pence on Wednesday.
