DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Hunters Property CEO Buys First Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Friday.

AIM debutante Hunters Property said Chief Executive Officer Harry Hill bought a total of 34,005 shares at an average price of 67 pence per share over Thursday and Friday.

The purchases are his only holding in the estate agency, which started trading on AIM on Thursday.

Hill was formerly a non-executive director of Hunters. He had been CEO of rival estate agency Countrywide PLC and also founded real estate portal Rightmove PLC.

Hunters had 151 branches as at the end of May, of which 140 are franchised branches and 11 branches are owned by the group. The company said it has traded under the Hunters brand since its inception in 1992.

Its shares closed up 3.6% at 73.00p. Hunters priced its IPO at 60p per share, giving it a market capitalisation on GBP16.9 million on admission.

Treatt said Finance Director Richard Hope bought 3,300 shares at 164 pence per share. Following this transaction, Hope's total beneficial holding stands at 170,335 shares being 0.32% of the issued share capital. Shares in the flavor and fragrance ingredient supplier closed down 1.7% at 161.30p Friday.

Pennon Group said commercial director of its Viridor subsidiary, Paul Ringham, bought 4,658 Pennon shares at a price of GB8.179668 per share . The water and waste utility stock closed down 1.5% at 810.50 pence Friday.

Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust said Joanna Wolton, wife of Non-Executive Director Peter Wolton, bought 8,250 shares at a price of 246.75 pence per share Thursday. Following this transaction, the Woltons hold 55,000 shares in the trust. The stock closed down 1.2% at 248.12p Friday.

EMED Mining Public Ltd said Non-Executive Director Jose Sierra Lopez bought 800,000 shares at a price of 4.75 pence per share Thursday. The purchase is his only shareholding in the company. The mining stock closed down 0.7% at 4.72p Friday.
