DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Four Capital & Counties Directors Buy

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Thursday.

Capital & Counties Properties said four of its board members bought a total of 140,000 shares on Thursday, worth about GBP454,000.

Chief Executive Officer Ian Hawksworth bought 50,000 shares at GBP3.194609 each. In addition, Finance Director Soumen Das and Chief Investment Officer Gary Yardley each bought 30,000 shares at GBP3.228 and GBP3.194609, respectively.

After the purchases, Hawksworth, Das and Yardley hold 820,604, 282,018 and 472,972 shares respectively.

Additionally, Non-Executive Director Gerry Murphy bought 30,000 shares at GBP3.323 each on Thursday, which is his only holding.

Capital & Counties Properties on Wednesday reported a 17% total return for 2015, after the value of its property portfolio increased over the year on the back of a particularly strong performance by its Covent Garden assets. The FTSE 250 property company said its net asset value per share rose to 361.0 pence in the year to the end of December, up from 311.0p a year ago.

The stock closed up 1.1% at 318.40p Thursday.

PhotonStar LED Group said it narrowed its loss in 2015, but suffered a decline in revenue, as it announced a share placing and subscription to raise GBP1.0 million.

The LED lighting manufacturer said its pretax loss narrowed to GBP0.9 million from GBP1.6 million, even as revenue slipped to GBP6.9 million from GBP7.2 million.

Photonstar said it has conditionally raised GBP1.0 million through the placing of 38 million shares at 2.5 pence each and subscription of 2 million shares at the same price.

The proceeds will be used to continue the group's transformation into a retrofit connected-lighting and building management business through its halcyon and CloudBMS platforms.

Chief Executive James McKenzie has agreed to subscribe for 1.2 million subscription shares, following which he will be interested in 15.5 million shares, representing 8.3% of the company's issued share capital.

Chief Technology Officer Majd Zoorob has agreed to subscribe for 400,000 subscription shares, following which Zoorob will hold 11.3 million shares, representing 6% of the company's issued share capital.

Shares in Photonstar closed down 3.6% at 2.53p on Thursday.

Recruiter Hays said a person connected to Chairman Alan Thomson bought 50,000 shares at 115.7p per share Thursday. Thomson now holds a beneficial interest in 250,000 shares. The stock closed up 1.3% at 115.30p Thursday.

Shaftesbury said Non-Executive Director Hilary Riva bought a total of 6,000 shares at GBP8.246848 and GBP8.2395 each on Thursday. Following this transaction, Riva now holds 16,479 shares. Shares in the real estate investment trust closed up 2.9% at 846.50p Thursday.

SEGRO said Non-Executive Director Christopher Fisher bought 5,000 shares at a price of 415.6 pence per share on Thursday. Following this transaction, Fisher holds 15,842 shares. The company also said Non-Executive Director Mark Robertshaw bought 8,000 shares at 419.7p each on Wednesday. The purchase doubles his holding to 16,000 shares. Shares in the real estate investment trust closed down 0.7% at 414.70p Thursday.

Jarvis Securities said Finance Director Jolyon Head bought 10,000 shares at a price of 335p per share Thursday. Following this transaction, Head now holds 23,271 shares, which represents 0.2% stake in the firm. The stock closed up 1.1% at 336.00p Thursday.

Conygar Investment Co said Chairman Nigel Hamway bought 10,000 shares at a price of 166.93p per share on Wednesday. Following this transaction, he holds 1.0 million shares, which represents a 1.29% stake in the firm. The stock closed down 0.6% at 166.01p Thursday.
