LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday and late Tuesday.----------Ferguson Chief Executive Officer John Martin purchased nearly GBP500,000 worth of shares in the FTSE 100-listed company.Martin purchased 10,000 shares at GBP49.1701 each, for a total of GBP491,701. Martin's resultant holding following Wednesday's transaction was not reported.Shares in Ferguson closed down 0.8% at 4,934.00 pence each.----------Hays said Managing Director of UKI & EMEA Nigel Heap purchased over GBP750,000 worth of shares. Heap acquired 483,565 shares at GBP1.556578, for a total of GBP752,706. Heap's holding following Tuesday's transaction was not reported. Shares in Hays closed down 1.4% at 152.70p each.----------AA Non-Executive Director Andrew Blowers bought GBP49,739 worth of shares. Blowers acquired 54,785 shares at 90.79p on Monday. His total shareholding following the acquisition was not disclosed. Shares in the vehicle recovery company closed at 86.64p each, up 3.8%.----------Royal Mail said Valerie Owen, a person closely associated with Chairman and Non-Executive Director Les Owen, purchased a total of 78,028 shares over two transactions. Owen bough 69,526 shares at GBP3.07072 and 8,502 shares at GBP3.05530. Combined, she purchased 78,028 shares at GBP3.06904 for a total of GBP239,471.Following Tuesday's transaction, Valerie and Les Owen's holding in the FTSE 100-listed company were not reported. Shares in Royal Mail closed up 3.1% at 315.40p each.----------BP said an associate of Chief Financial Officer Brian Gilvary sold GBP466,994 worth of shares in the company. Joanne Louise Gilvary sold 87,256 shares in the oil company on Tuesday at GBP5.35 per share. Brian Gilvary's total holding, including associate holding, if any following the sale was not disclosed. Shares in BP closed at 1.9% lower at 527.00p each.----------HSBC Holdings said Finance Director Iain Mackay sold GBP482,696 worth of shares in the bank. Mackay sold 71,587 shares at GBP6.74 per share on Tuesday. Shares in the financial services company closed at 659.90p each, down 2.3%.----------IronRidge Resources said Non-Executive Director Nicholas Mather sold GBP177,178 worth of shares to attend personal financial circumstances within his other business interests. Mather sold 907,678 shares at 19.52p per share. Following the sale, Mather will own 2.3 million shares, representing 0.7% of the issued share capital of the company, and 2.3 million options in the company. Shares in the mineral exploration company closed trading 2.0% lower at 18.75p.----------Thomas Cook Group Chairman Frank Meysman bought GBP80,441 worth of shares in the travel company. Meysman acquired 373,000 shares at 21.57p each on Tuesday. Shares in the company closed up 51% at 34.40p.----------Robert Walters said late Tuesday that Chief Executive Officer Robert Walters bought shares in the firm worth GBP149,060. Walters acquired 29,000 shares at 514.00p each in a deal concluded on Monday. His total stake following the purchase is 2.3 million shares. Robert Walters shares closed up 1.6% at 508.00p. ----------
