DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Debenhams Board Members Buy 275,000 Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Thursday and late Wednesday.

Department store chain Debenhams said Chairman Ian Cheshire, Senior Director Terry Duddy, and Non-Executive Director Stephen Ingham all bought shares in the company on Thursday.

Duddy bought 100,000 shares at 53.35 pence per share, Ingham bought 74,557 shares at 53.25p per share, and Cheshire bought 100,000 shares at 54.1987p per share. The company did not provide any of their respective beneficial interests following the transactions.

Shares in Debenhams were up 0.2% at the close Thursday at 53.00p.

Veterinary services provider CVS Group said Non-Executive Director Richard Connell, Richard Connell's wife and Chief Finance Officer Nick Perrin all bought shares in the company across Wednesday and Thursday. CVS Group said Connell purchased 10,370 shares and his wife purchased 2,130 shares on Wednesday. The 10,370 shares purchased by Connell were in various tranches at different prices. The average price of the shares purchased was 693.4692 pence. All of the 2,130 shares purchased by his wife were purchased at a price of 694.125p each.

Connell additionally bought 5,000 shares in various tranches at different prices on Thursday. The average price of the shares purchased was 688.626 pence. Connell's total beneficial interest in the company, including his wife's holdings, now totals 97,891 shares, representing a 0.16% stake.

Perrin bought 2,000 shares, all at 698.50p per share. He now holds a total of 12,000 shares, or a 0.02% stake.

CVS Group shares closed up 1.9% at 691.07p on Thursday afternoon.

Property investment company McKay Securities said Non-Executive Chairman David Thomas, his wife, and Non-Executive Director Viscount Lifford bought shares in the company on Thursday. Thomas bought 10,516 shares at 154.80 pence per share, while his wife also bought 10,516 shares at the same price. Viscount Lifford bought 5,000 shares in the company at 146.10p. The company did not provide their beneficial interests in the company following the transaction. Shares in McKay Securities closed up 9.9% at 156.03p.

Engineer Hayward Tyler Group said Chief Executive Officer Ewan Lloyd-Baker bought shares in the company on Wednesday. Lloyd-Baker bought 32,395 shares at 79.00 pence per share. Hayward Tyler did not provide his total beneficial interest in the company following the transaction. On Tuesday, Hayward Tyler said pretax profit for the year to the end of March was GBP3.0 million, down from the GBP4.4 million it made a year earlier. The company remained confident on outlook however, with profits down due to one-off charges and trading in a difficult market. Hayward Tyler shares closed up 0.6% at 80.00p.

Mineral exploration company Aurasian Minerals said Chief Executive Officer Peter Mullens bought shares in the company on Tuesday. Mullens bought 25,000 shares at 0.55 pence per share. Aurasian Minerals did not provide his total beneficial interest following the transaction. On Tuesday, Aurasian Minerals said it exercised an option agreement with Rockstone Group to earn up to an 80% interest in the Gokcincia project licenses in Southern Serbia. "We are excited to exercise the option agreement over the Gokcinica permits. Work can now commence on defining areas of interest and the commencement of geological mapping and sampling to define drill targets." Mullens said on Tuesday. Aurasian shares closed up 4.4% at 0.60p.

Vianet Group said Chairman James Dickson bought shares in the company on Thursday. Dickson bought 10,000 shares at 96.97 pence per share. His total beneficial interest in the company now totals 4.7 million shares, or a 17% stake. Dickson also had bought shares in the company on Friday through his pension fund. Shares in Vianet, which makes monitoring systems for the leisure and vending sectors, closed up 1.5% at 96.97p Thursday.

Clarkson said Non-Executive Chairman James Hughes-Hallet acquired 663 shares in the company priced at 1,808.05 pence each on Tuesday. The shipping firm did not state the number of shares held by Hughes-Hallet following the transaction, but the shares are in addition to the other 1,500 shares purchased by Hughes-Hallet earlier on Tuesday at a price of 1,800.0 pence per share. Clarkson shares closed up 3.2% at 1,745.27p.

Investment fund Value & Income Trust said the Coltstaple Charitable Trust, of which Director Matthew Oakeshott is a trustee, bought shares in the company on Wednesday. The trust bought 27,500 shares at 233.50 pence per share. The trust's beneficial interest in the company now totals 1.0 million shares, or a 2.2% stake. On Monday the charitable trust bought 25,000 shares in the company, and an additional 60,000 on Tuesday. Matthew Oakeshott holds 2.7 million shares, or a 6.02% stake. The Oakeshott family additionally holds 2.5 million shares, a 5.6% stake. Value & Income shares closed up 0.3% at 232.25p Thursday.

Retail property investor NewRiver Retail said Chief Executive Officer David Lockhart bought shares in the company through a personal pension plan on Thursday. Lockhart bought 5,000 shares at 279.63 pence per share. NewRiver Retail did not provide his total beneficial interest in the company following the transaction. Lockhart's latest purchase adds to the 23,000 shares he bought on Wednesday and 25,000 shares on Tuesday, all through his self-invested pension plan. NewRiver shares closed up 4.8% at 282.00p Thursday.

Investment fund Securities Trust of Scotland said Non-Executive Director John Evans bought shares in the company on Wednesday. Evans bought 50,000 shares at 148.00 pence. His total beneficial interest in the company following the transaction now totals 50,000 shares, or a 0.04% stake. Securities Trust of Scotland shares closed up 0.3% at 151.00p Thursday.

Real estate investment trust LondonMetric Property said Alec Pelmore and Andrew Livingston, both non-executive directors, bought shares in the company on Wednesday. Pelmore bought 25,000 shares at 139.90 pence, increasing his beneficial interest to 145,500 shares, or a 0.02% stake. Livingston bought 35,669 shares at 140.20p. His total beneficial interest is now 35,669 shares, representing a 0.01% stake. LondonMetric shares closed up 1.6% at 142.00p Thursday.

Telecommunications company Zegona Communications said Chief Executive Officer Eamonn O'Hare bought shares in the company on Wednesday. O'Hare bought 50,000 shares at 109.00 pence per share. O'Hare's beneficial interest in the company following this transaction now totals 1.6 million shares, or a 0.8% stake. Zegona shares closed up 4.2% at 112.50p Thursday.
