DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Cambian CEO, Chairman And Others Buy

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Monday and late on Friday.

Home credit lender International Personal Finance said its chief commercial officer and his wife, and a senior independent non-executive director, respectively sold and bought shares in the company.

Chief Commercial Officer David Broadbent and his wife, Sharon, sold 50,000 shares to help pay for a residential property. The shares were sold at 375p each on Friday, leaving the Broadbents with 207,989 shares.

The company also said Antony Hales, senior independent non-executive director, on Monday bought GBP94,964 of shares in the lender. In a statement, the company said that Hales, who has been on the board since 2007, bought the 25,000 shares at 379.8549 pence each. The open market purchase gives Hales a total of 75,000 shares, equivalent to a 0.0336% stake in the company.

Shares in International Personal Finance closed up 0.4% at 378.17p on Monday.

Health services company Cambian Group said a slew of directors purchased shares in the company on Friday.

Chief Executive Saleem Asaria bought 130,000 shares at 151.9625 pence per share. His holding increased to 1.6 million shares, or a 0.9% stake in the company.

Chairman Christopher Kemball purchased 52,000 shares at the same price, taking his holding to 107,555 shares, or a 0.1% stake.

Independent Non-Executive Director Christopher Brinsmead bought 16,000 shares, also at the same price. He now owns 26,000 shares, or around 0.01% of the issued share capital.

And Graham Rich, another independent non-executive director, bought 6,000 shares at the same price, his only holding in the company.

Cambian shares closed up 1.2% to 150.00p on Monday.

Lloyds Banking Group said Commercial Banking Director Andrew Bester sold shares in the company on Thursday. Bester sold 800,000 shares in the bank at 73.77 pence per share, giving the transaction a total value of GBP590,160. Lloyds shares closed down 1.0% at 73.00p Monday.

Windows and doors manufacturer Safestyle UK said Chief Executive Steve Birmingham bought shares in the company on Friday. Birmingham bought a total of 40,000 shares for 218.20 pence per share. His total holding is now 3.9 million shares, or 4.9% of the company's issued share capital. Safestyle shares closed up 3.6% to 231.50p on Monday.

Chipmaker ARM Holdings said two of its directors sold shares in the company on Friday. HR Director Jennifer Duvalier sold 1,461 shares in ARM for 1,051.00 pence per share, while Pete Hutton, executive vice-president and president of its product groups, 1,193 shares at 1,047.00 pence per share. Shares in ARM closed down 0.6% at 1,058.00p on Monday.

Grafenia said Chief Executive Peter Gunning and Finance Director Alan Roberts bought shares in the printed materials and services company on Monday. Gunning bought 201,935 shares at 15.50 pence each, and now holds 886,581 shares representing 1.9% of the company's issued share capital. Roberts bought 180,000 shares at 15.70p each, and now holds 500,000 shares representing a 1.1% stake. Grafenia ealier Monday said it swung to a loss in the first half as revenue declined but its cost of sales increased. Shares in Grafenia closed up 6.4% at 15.70p Monday.

North Midland Construction said Chairman Robert Moyle bought shares in the company on October 14. Moyle bought 1,000 shares in the company for 113.00 pence per share. North Midland shares were untraded on Monday, having last traded at 113.10p.

Gresham Computing said Kestrel Partners acquired 50,000 Gresham shares at GBP1.08 each on Friday last week. Kestrel is the investment manager to Kestrel Opportunities, a cell of Guernsey Portfolios PCC Ltd. Gresham Non-Executive Director Max Royde is a partner and holds a beneficial interest in Kestrel, as well as being a shareholder in Kestrel Opportunities.

Of the total, 25,000 of the shares purchased were on behalf of Kestrel Opportunities, and the remaining 25,000 shares were bought on behalf of Kestrel's other clients, in which Royde has no beneficial interest. Kestrel Opportunities, and Royde, now hold 6.3 million shares in Gresham. On a combined basis, Kestrel indirectly holds 6.9 million shares in Gresham, representing 11% of Gresham's issued share capital.

Shares in Gresham were untraded on Monday, last quoted at 108.00 pence.

Irish packaging company Smurfit Kappa Group on Friday said Chief Financial Officer Ian Curley sold 130,000 shares in the company at EUR26.05 each on the same day. Following this, Curley holds 84,267 shares, representing 0.04% of the company's issued share capital. Shares in Smurfit Kappa closed down 0.1% at EUR26.32 on Monday.

Student accommodation developer Empiric Student Property on Friday said Non-Executive Director Alexandra Mackesy bought 23,000 shares at 108.94 pence each on Thursday. This was Mackesy's first share purchase and she now has a holding of 0.01% of the company's issued share capital. Shares in Empiric closed up 0.5% at 110.25 pence on Monday.
