LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Tuesday.

British Land said Non-Executive Director William Jackson bought about GBP501,000 of the property developer's shares.
The director bought 75,000 shares at a price of 668.5342 pence per share Tuesday.
His total shareholding was undisclosed.
The stock closed up 2.7% at 676.94p Tuesday.

Intu Properties said Non-Executive Director John Strachan bought 30,000 shares at a price of GBP3.026 each Tuesday, worth about GBP90,000. The purchase is his only holding after being appointed in October last year. Shares in the Lakeside shopping mall owner closed down 0.2% at 299.64p Tuesday.

Standard Chartered said Non-Executive Director Byron Grote bought 4,899 shares at a price of USD5.97 per share Monday. Following this transaction, Grote holds 37,041 shares. Shares in the emerging-markets focused bank closed up 0.4% at 431.95p Tuesday.

Galileo Resources said that it has raised GBP375,000 through a placing of 37.5 million shares at a price of 1 pence each, enacted by its broker Beaufort Securities. Partaking in the placing were Galileo's Chairman Colin Bird and Non-Executive Director Richard Wollenberg, who subscribed for 5 million and 500,000 shares respectively. Following this Bird holds 48.19 million shares in the company or a 24.87% stake, and Wollenberg holds 3.3 million shares or a 1.7% stake. Galileo plans to use the placing proceeds to fund a deposit required under the terms of its cooperation and joint venture agreement signed with Shirley Hayes and Shirley Hayes ipk (Pty) in relation to the Concordia copper property in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. Shares in Galileo Resources closed down 5.7% at 1.25 pence Tuesday.
