DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Aurasian Minerals Raises Funds With New CEO

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Friday.

Aurasian Minerals shares rose on after it said it has appointed Peter Mullens as its new chief executive, and that Mullens has agreed to subscribe for new Aurasian shares alongside a new non-executive director to raise GBP207,500 for the company.

In addition, Aurasian has appointed Gokhan Kantarcigil as a new non-executive director. Both Mullens and Kantarcigil have agreed to subscribe to shares in the company following their appointments.

Mullens agreed to subscribe for 36.1 million shares whilst Kantarcigil subscribed for 11.5 million shares, both at a price of 0.436 pence to raise a combined total of GBP207,500.

"I am delighted to welcome Pete and Gokhan to the board. Their experience in identifying and developing assets through the exploration and production cycle will be invaluable as we seek to create value for all of Aurasian's shareholders. Their investment in the company demonstrates their commitment, and we very much look forward to working with them," said Chairman Bruce Kay.

Aurasian shares closed down 3.9% to 0.625 pence per share on Friday, valuing the company at GBP2.3 million by market capitalisation.

Vipera said Chief Financial Officer Martin Perrin bought 20,000 shares at a price of 4.25 pence per share Thursday. Following this transaction, Perrin holds around 1 million shares, which represents 0.4% stake in the firm. Shares in the provider of mobile financial services closed untraded at 4.25p Friday.

Thalassa Holdings said Chairman Duncan Soukup bought 50,000 shares at a price of 51 pence per share Thursday. He has bought a total of 375,000 shares since June 10. Following this transaction, Soukup holds around 3.5 million shares, which represents 14.1% of Thalassa's total voting rights. Shares in the geophysical project management group closed down 1.0% at 50.00p Friday.

Connect Group said Chief Financial Officer Nick Gresham sold 135,475 shares at a price of 148 pence per share Friday. Following this transaction, Gresham holds 148,084 shares. Shares in the distribution company were closed 2.2% at 146.50p Friday.
