LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Friday.----------Ashtead Group said Friday that Independent Non-Executive Director Wayne Edmunds bought GBP293,613 worth of shares.Edmunds bought 14,260 shares at 2,059 pence each on Thursday, worth GBP293,613. On Friday, he then sold 7,000 shares at 2,090 pence per share or worth GBP146,300.After the transactions, Edmunds holds 14,260 shares in the equipment rental company. Ashtead shares closed at 2,095.00 pence on Friday, up 2.1%.----------Spirent Communications said Friday that Chairman Bill Thomas bought GBP24,858 worth of shares.Thomas bought 21,323 shares at 117 pence per share. Currently his total holding in the telecommunication company amounts to 67,422 shares. Shares in Spirent closed at 118.60 pence, up by 6.5%.----------Standard Chartered on Friday said that Regional Chief Executive Officer Anna Marrs sold shares in the banking and financial services company.In a transaction on Thursday, Marrs disposed 15,768 shares at a price of 753.40 pence, worth GBP118,796.Shares in Standard Chartered closed 0.8% higher at 748.00p each on Friday.The company did not specify Marrs' holding, if any, following the transaction.----------Independent Investment Trust on Friday said Chairman Douglas McDougall sold shares in a transaction on Thursday.McDougall disposed 10,000 shares at a price of 750.00 pence each, worth GBP75,000 in total.
