LONDON (Alliance News) - Stobart Group Ltd on Wednesday said Chief Executive Officer Warwick Brady acquired 23,500 shares at a price of 103.45 pence each.
Following the GBP24,311 deal, which took place on Tuesday, Brady and his wife hold a combined 229,705 shares or 0.06% stake in aviation, energy and civil engineering firm Stobart.
That same Tuesday, Catherine Ferguson - wife of Non-Executive Chair Iain Ferguson - purchased 50,000 shares at 106p each for GBP53,000. The chair and his wife hold a combined 300,000 shares or 0.08% stake.
On Wednesday last week, Stobart reported a 39% rise in revenue from continued operations in its year to February 28 to GBP146.9 million from GBP105.4 million. However, it swung to a pretax loss of GBP42.1 million from a GBP109.3 million profit due to investment in its Aviaton & Energy division, one-off legal costs, and non-cash items.
Shares in Stobart were up 0.2% at 103.60p on Wednesday afternoon.
