LONDON (Alliance News) - Waste management company Shanks Group PLC said its new Chairman Colin Matthews bought 100,000 shares at a price of 114.5 pence per share on Tuesday.
Matthews was appointed in March and was previously chief executive of Heathrow Airport Holdings, the operator of London's Heathrow airport, formerly known as BAA. He also was CEO of water company Severn Trent PLC and recruitment consultancy Hays PLC in the past.
Matthews is currently a non-executive director of platinum and chemicals firm Johnson Matthey PLC and chairman of Highways England.
The stock was down 0.4% at 113.00p Tuesday.
