LONDON (Alliance News) - Scientific Digital Imaging PLC, a manufacturer of scientific and technology products for use in digital imaging, sensing, and control, said Chairman Ken Ford bought GBP36,400 worth of shares in the company on Wednesday.
Ford bought purchased 100,000 at 36.4 pence per share. The company also said Non-Executive Director David Tilston purchased 10,000 shares at 37p per share.
Following the purchases, Ford has an interest in 1.5 million shares and Tilston has 90,000 shares, representing around 1.6% and 0.1% of the company's share capital, respectively.
Earlier in the day, Scientific Digital Imaging has raised GBP2.6 million via a share placing and open offer. The company issued 7.3 million shares at a price of 34p each and a further 294,117 shares in the open offer to raise another GBP100,000.
Shares in the company were trading 8.8% higher at 40.00 pence each.
