(Alliance News) - S4 Capital PLC said Friday its Executive Chair Martin Sorrell bought shares worth GBP12.7 million as part of a recent share price issue, while executive directors and non-executive directors also acquired shares in the company.
In early October, S4 Capital announced plans to raise up to GBP100 million through a placing and open offer through the issue of 70.4 million new shares at an offer price of 142 pence per share to fund the acquisition of US digital marketing agency Firewood Marketing Inc.
The digital advertisement company said Sorrell - a former boss of FTSE 100-listed WPP PLC - bought 8.9 million worth of shares at 142 pence per share, and now owns a total of 55.4 million worth of shares.
Oro en Fools BV, associated with Executive Directors Victor Knaap and Wesley ter Haar, bought 2.9 million shares - worth GBP4.1 million - and now owns 33.7 million shares. Meanwhile SEF4 Investment SCSP, associated with Daniel Pinto, non-executive director of the company, bought 13.7 million shares worth GBP19.4 million and now owns 41.2 million shares in the company.
Non-Executive Director Paul Roy acquired 307,266 shares at GBP1.42 pence per share and now owns a total of 1.9 million shares. His acquisition was worth GBP436,318.
S4 Capital also said that Peter Rademaker, executive director and group's chief financial officer, bought 136,600 shares worth GBP193,120, while Scott Spirit, executive director and chief growth officer, acquired 26,097 shares worth GBP37,058.
S4 Capital Non-Executive directors Rupert Faure Walker and Sue Prevezer acquired 251,500 and 34,494 shares, worth GBP357,130 and GBP48,981 respectively.
S4 Capital shares were down 0.6% in London at 166.44 pence each on Friday afternoon.
