(Alliance News) - Letter and parcel carrier Royal Mail on Friday said Chief Executive Officer Rico Back bought GBP537,676 worth of shares in 13 transactions on Thursday.
Back purchased a total of 300,000 shares at an average price of GBP1.79 each. His total shareholding following the transactions was not disclosed.
The stock was trading 3.8% lower at 172.15 pence each on Friday afternoon in London.
Royal Mail had been London's worst performing stock on Thursday, dropping 5.5%, after saying it will miss its productivity target and warning its core UKPIL business could be loss making in the upcoming 2021 financial year.
The stock was priced at 330p in its 2013 initial public offering.
