LONDON (Alliance News) - Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC Monday said the chief executive of pub company Greene King PLC bought his first shares in the FTSE 250 supermarket chain.
The company said, Rooney Anand snapped up 12,500 shares at 160.36 pence each on Friday which constitutes his only holding.
Anand was appointed to the Morrisons board effectively from January 1 when he became a non-executive director and senior independent director. He has been Greene King's chief executive since 2005, having previously headed its brewing business.
The stock was down 1.2% at 159.30p Monday.
