DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Polypipe Chairman, Chief Executive Buy Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - Polypipe Group PLC, a piping, plumbing and drainage system manufacturer, said Wednesday that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer purchased a total of 140,000 shares.

Chairman Ron Marsh acquired 100,000 ordinary shares and Chief Executive Martin Payne acquired 40,000. They now hold an interest in a total of 275,000 and 109,726 shares, respectively.

Marsh purchased the shares at a price of 350.50 pence per share, or for a total of GBP350,500. Payne purchased the shares for 356.60p each, totalling GBP138,240.

The transaction was completed Tuesday.

Shares in Polypipe were trading up 3.0% Wednesday midday at 361.60 pence each.
