(Alliance News) - FTSE 100 specialty chemicals firm Johnson Matthey PLC on Monday reported two share purchases by one executive and also by a person closely associated to the chief executive.
On Monday, Susan MacLeod purchased 5,250 shares at a price of GBP28.42 each, for a total of GBP149,184. She is a person closely associated to CEO Robert MacLeod.
London-based Johnson Matthey did not say how many shares neither she nor the CEO now hold.
On Friday last week, the head of the Clean Air division, Joan Braca, bought 2,500 shares at GBP28.59, for GBP71,473. Again, Johnson Matthey did not say how many shares Braca now has.
Shares closed 2.8% higher on Monday in London at 2,926.00 pence each.
Last week, Johnson Matthey reported an 8% fall in pretax profit for the first half of its financial year ending March, due to problems at a new plant in Poland in the Clean Air unit.
