LONDON (Alliance News) - Europe and Mediterranean-focused upstream oil and gas firm Sound Energy PLC on Tuesday said newly-appointed Non-Executive Chairman Stephen Whyte has bought shares in the company.
Whyte bought 73,140 shares at 20.49 pence per share. He now owns 141,786 Sound Energy shares, or a 0.03% stake.
Whyte was appointed Sound Energy's new chairman on Tuesday, having previously been a non-executive director of the company. He is the former chief operating officer and exploration & production executive director of Galp Energia, a Portuguese energy company.
Sound Energy shares were up 0.4% to 20.46p on Tuesday.
