LONDON (Alliance News) - Metro Bank PLC on Monday said that two of its directors bought shares in the challenger bank on Friday.
Chair Vernon Hill bought 41,000 shares in two transactions for a total of GBP376,243. His total stake in the firm following Friday's deal was not disclosed.
Executive Director Craig Donaldson on the same day acquired 11,100 shares at GBP9.03 each for a total of GBP100,258. It was not disclosed how many shares he now holds in the bank.
Furthermore, Metro said that Bank of America Corp now holds a 6.848% stake in the company.
Bank of America's holding prior to Friday's deal, if any, was not disclosed.
Metro Bank shares closed up 5.9% at 966.00 pence each on Moday.
