LONDON (Alliance News) - Food and clothing retailer Marks & Spencer Group PLC said Chairman Robert Swannell bought 3,000 shares at a price of GBP3.96197 on Friday.
Following this transaction, Swannell now holds 143,000 shares.
Shares were down 2.0% at 398.40p Friday afternoon, one of the worst performers in the FTSE 100, after Merill Lynch downgraded the stock to Underperform from Neutral.
