LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas exploration company Lekoil Ltd said Wednesday that Non-Executive Director Gregory Eckersley bought shares in the company on Tuesday.
Eckersley bought 55,000 shares at 18.50 pence per share. His total beneficial interest in the company now totals 2.9 million shares, or a 0.59% stake.
Lekoil said last week it is aiming to produce 10,000 barrels of oil per day by the end of 2016, after news that the company made a significantly larger loss in 2015 than the previous year.
Shares in Lekoil were up 6.6% on Wednesday to 19.18p.
