LONDON (Alliance News) - Ladbrokes PLC Thursday said two of its directors bought shares in the bookmaker on Wednesday.
Chairman John Kelly bought 30,000 shares at 116.02p each. Ladbrokes last Friday announced it appointed Kelly as the company's new chairman ahead of the proposed merger with Coral Group, following the departure of predecessor Peter Erskine.

The company also said Non-Executive Director Mark Pain bought 50,000 shares at 116.27p each.
Their total holdings were not disclosed.
The stock was up 0.6% at 117.20p Thursday.
