(Alliance News) - Chaarat Gold Holdings on Friday said that Labro Investments Ltd, a firm closely associated with Chair Martin Andersson, acquired a further 338,116 shares in company following a series of transaction this week.
Across two transactions on Tuesday, Labro purchased 152,000 shares at an average price of 34.84 pence each, GBP53,653 altogether.
Over a series of transactions on Wednesday, Labro bought 186,116 Chaarat shares, at an average of 36.42 pence each GBP67,779 in total.
Labro now holds 145.5 million shares, 33% of the gold mining firm's stock.
Earlier in October, Director Robert Benbow bought 10,000 Chaarat shares at 37.00p each, GBP3,700 in total. A week later, he purchased 100,000 shares at the same price, GBP37,000 in total.
Benbow now owns 235,000 Chaarat shares.
Separately, Chaarat said it had overstated the amount of shares Labro purchased in a transaction on October 1. Labro had in fact bought 299,900 shares, rather than 299,990 as previously stated.
Chaarat's stock was untraded in London on Friday morning, last quoted at 37.80p apiece.
