LONDON (Alliance News) - International Public Partnerships PLC on Monday said its five non-executive directors participated in the London-listed infrastructure investment company's GBP180.0 million equity fundraising, acquiring shares worth GBP570,938.
"We believe the success of the issue underlines the investment attractions of the infrastructure sector generally and of the assets within our portfolio in particular," Chairman Rupert Dorey had said earlier on Monday.
Dorey, through his spouse, Rosemary, acquired 150,000 shares, taking his total holding to 793,687 shares in the company. Giles Frost also acquired 150,000 shares, giving him a total of 418,745 shares in the company.
John Stares bought 75,000 shares, which now represents his entire shareholding, while Claire Whittet acquired her first 50,000 shares.
John Whittle acquired 10,000 shares in the company, giving him a total shareholding of 51,184 shares.
A total of 137.1 million shares were issued at a price of 131.25 pence each under the fundraising, and International Public Partnerships will have 990.6 million shares in issue on their admission to trading.
Shares in International Public Partnerships closed up 0.9% at 134.20p on Monday.
