LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed engineering company IMI PLC said Tuesday that Chairman Robert Smith pruchased GBP60,000 worth of shares.
Smith - who was knighted in 1999 and then made a life peer in 2008 - purchased 6,000 shares at a price of GBP10.72 each.
Smith's total holding in the company after Thursday's transaction was not disclosed.
Shares in IMI closed down slightly at 1,074.00 pence each.
