DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Hiscox Chairman And Wife Sell Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - Insurer Hiscox Ltd said Tuesday that Chairman Robert Childs and his wife Mary Childs sold GBP1.2 million worth of shares in the company on Monday.

Chairman Childs sold 40,000 ordinary shares at 1,500.5 pence share. Mary Childs sold 40,000 shares at 1,500.5p each.

Two trusts - owned by the chairman and his wife respectively - also sold 500 shares each in the company at the same price.

Robert Childs and persons closely associated with him remains interested in 1.3 million shares, the company said.

Shares in the company closed down 0.4% at 1,501.85p on Tuesday.
