LONDON (Alliance News) - Pub chain and brewer Greene King PLC said Chairman Philip Yea bought shares in the company on Tuesday.
Yea bought 10,000 shares at 747.30 pence per share. Yea's beneficial interest in the company now totals 40,000 shares, or less than a 0.1% stake. Yea was appointed as chairman in May, having joined the board as a non-executive director in February.
Greene King shares were down 4.3% on Tuesday at 749.00p.
