LONDON (Alliance News) - Goals Soccer Centres PLC said Operations Director Morris Payton exercised 50,000 share options at a price of 62 pence per share.
As a result, Goals issued 50,000 new shares and has applied for them to be traded on AIM starting Thursday. The company now has a total of 52.6 million shares in issue.
Payton sold 9,800 of the option shares at 173.5p and and transferred the remaining 40,200 shares to his wife Susan Payton, all of which were then sold at 173.5 pence each.
As a result, Payton's interest is unchanged in Goals at 271,910 shares representing approximately 0.5% of the total.
Goals closed Monday at 174.10p, down 1.90p.
