(Alliance News) - Looker PLC said Friday a firm controlled by Non-Executive Director Douglas Bramall bought shares worth a combined GBP676,000 in the new and used car retailer in a trio of transactions earlier this week.
Guernsey Investments Ltd - controlled by Bramall - bought 725,000 shares at 51.75 pence each on Tuesday worth GBP375,188. On Wednesday, this was followed by another 50,000 shares at 50.00p each worth GBP25,000. Hot on the heels of this, a further 550,000 shares at 50.13p each worth GBP275,741 were acquired on Thursday.
Shares in Lookers closed 1.3% lower at 46.60p in London on Friday.
Following the transactions, the total holding of Bramall and connected companies and people stood at 73.5 million, equivalent to a 19% stake in Lookers.
