LONDON (Alliance News) - Electrocomponents PLC Monday said its new finance director bought his first shares last Thursday, having taken up his role at the beginning of March.
David Egan bought 70,000 shares at a price of 238 pence per share.
Egan was appointed Electrocomponents' new finance director in December. He was previously group finance director of speciality chemicals and engineered materials company Alent, and prior to that held roles at ESAB Holdings Ltd and Hanson.
Shares in the electronic and maintenance products distributor were up 1.9% at 237.00p Monday.
