DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Electra Private Equity Sees Bramson Increase Stake

14th Dec 2015 18:18

LONDON (Alliance News) - Electra Private Equity PLC Monday said Director Edward Bramson purchased 1,276 shares in the company last Wednesday for a total of GBP46,082, at an average price of 3,611.0 pence per share.

Bramson also acquired 160 convertible bonds for a total of GBP290,992, equating to an average of GBP1,819 per bond.

Following the transaction, Bramson is interested in 10.8 million shares and 10,028 convertible bonds, representing a 31.06% stake in the company.

Bramson won a battle for a seat on Electra's board in early November following a public row between the activist investor and the trust. Bramson founded Sherborne Investors, in which Bramson holds his interest in Electra.

Electra shares closed up 0.3% to 3,670.0p on Monday.
