(Alliance News) - Eco Atlantic Oil & Gas PLC said on Wednesday Non-Executive Director Peter Nicol has bought shares worth over GBP50,000.
Nicol, in a deal on Tuesday, purchased 40,000 shares at a price of 141.35 pence each for GBP56,540. Following this, he holds 1.5 million shares, worth 0.8% of the company.
Eco, which has an interest in the Orinduik block offshore Guyana, was trading 5.0% lower on Wednesday at 131.65p. In August, a first discovery was made at Orinduik, and another was announced in September.
Eco owns 15% of the block, with Tullow Oil PLC owning 60% and French oil major Total SA 25%.
