LONDON (Alliance News) - easyJet PLC said that Chief Commercial & Strategy Officer Robert Carey purchased GBP22,665 in shares in a deal on Thursday.
Carey bought 2,500 shares at a price of GBP9.066 per share. It has not been disclosed how many shares he now holds following this transaction.
With effect from June 24, easyJet will be demoted from the FTSE 100 index into the midcap FTSE 250.
Shares in the airline closed 0.8% higher at 910.40 pence on Thursday.
