DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Conygar team buy at placing price; Drax CEO sells

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Conygar Investment Co PLC - property investment and development - Six directors and executives buy shares on Monday at the GBP1.50 placing price for Conygar's GBP10.7 million equity raise last week. Among them, Non-Executive Director Bimaljit Sandhu buys 392,500 shares, worth GBP588,750, Non-Executive Chair Nigel Hamway buys 100,000 shares, and Chief Executive Officer Robert Ware buys 147,500 shares. Cash from the equity raise will go towards progressing the company's Island Quarter site in Nottingham. Conygar also on Wednesday says it has completed the sale of its industrial units at Selly Oak in Birmingham. The deal was first announced in 2019 but had been subject to planning permission. The units were sold to a an unnamed provider of student accommodation for GBP7.2 million, compared to a book value of GBP3.6 million.

Jardine Matheson Holdings Ltd - Hong Kong-headquartered holding company with interests in retail, property, hotels and motor dealerships - Honor Violet Weatherall, associate of Director Percy Weatherall, sells 12,100 shares at USD55.39, worth USD670,271, in Singapore on Wednesday.

Drax Group PLC - Selby, England-based electrical power station operator - CEO Will Gardiner sells 16,667 shares at 595.00 pence, worth GBP99,169, on Wednesday. Now has 602,286 shares.

Taylor Wimpey PLC - High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire-based housebuilder - Independent Non-Executive Director Scilla Grimble buys 15,000 shares at 170.78p, worth GBP25,617, on Wednesday. Taylor Wimpey on Wednesday said the UK Competition & Markets Authority investigation into the historical sale of leasehold properties with doubling ground rent clauses by the company is closed, following the agreement of voluntary undertakings.
