LONDON (Alliance News) - Centamin PLC, the gold miner listed in both London and Toronto, on Wednesday said Chairman Josef El-Raghy sold 12.6 million shares in the final week of May.
The chairman sold the shares at an average price of 98 pence between May 26 and May 31, Centamin said in a statement.
The statement related to Nordana Pty Ltd, a fund connected to El-Raghy.
El-Raghy now has an interest in 58.8 million shares, equivalent to a 5.1% stake in Centamin.
Shares in Centamin closed up 2.6% at 98.82p in London on Wednesday.
