LONDON (Alliance News) - Carpetright PLC Wednesday said two of its top executives bought shares a day after the carpets and floorings retailer reported third quarter fall in total sales in the UK.
Chief Executive Office Wilf Walsh bought 25,000 shares which is his only holding. While the wife of Finance Director Neil Page bought 6,250 shares, which increases his beneficial interest to 22,282 shares.
Both purchases were made at 400 pence each on Wednesday.
Carpetright on Tuesday reported a fall in total sales in the UK in the third quarter of its financial year, although like-for-like sales grew as recovery in customer numbers in the January sales period offset lower footfall in the run-up to Christmas.
The stock was down 3.3 at 387.00p Wednesday.
