(Alliance News) - FTSE 100-listed Berkeley Group Holdings PLC said Friday Chair Anthony Pidgley sold shares worth over GBP3.7 million in a transaction on Thursday.
Pidgley - who founded the housebuilder in 1976 - sold 1.0 million shares at a price of 3,720 pence, worth GBP3.7 million. Shares in Berkeley closed 1.9% lower at 3,756.00 pence on Friday.
The stake of Pidgley in Berkeley after the transaction was not disclosed. However, according to Berkeley's 2018 annual report, he held 4.4 million shares or a 3.3% stake in the company as of the end of April 2018.
